KONSEP BELAS KASIHAN MENURUT INJIL MATIUS 18:23-35
Abstract
This article is the result of research on a compassionate life for fellow human beings according to the Gospel of Matthew 18:23-35. The method used is exegesis. The results show that compassion is the key to forgiving others. Everyone who believes in Jesus receives forgiveness from God by God's great mercy through the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught every believer to forgive because they have received His mercy. Not forgiving others means that God does not forgive us because what has been sown on earth will be reaped in heaven. Allah's punishment will apply to everyone who does not forgive. Therefore, this attitude needs to be taken and applied by every believer who has received forgiveness from God in Jesus Christ.
